What a really good idea and completely incongruous sight. A seaplane crashed in the desert. I say seaplane because of the nose and hull with a boat like keel, and the high wing four engine arrangement. My Father was crew chief and waist gunner on a PBY-CATALINA flying boat in the ETO during WW2 flying ASR in conjunction with an RAF rescue high speed motor launch. He had paid a GI who was good at painting nose art. He paid the artist two bottles of scotch whiskey to do a scantily clad reclining blond on the nose named "MISS PICK-UP". At first I thought it was a Boeing 314 Clipper, but could not see the large side mounted bouncy floats, so then I thought RAF's Short Sunderland flying boat. Both planes were high winged four engined planes. Either way, you did a great job on this. Congratulations and best of luck in your future endeavors. Cheers and be well.
